Segment-1 Schedule

Segment One Registration Course

Teenagers seeking a driver license are required to complete the Segment I and II classes. Please note Segment One class includes both classroom and driving sessions. The driving portion of the course is scheduled by appointment separately from the classroom sessions. Students should expect to be driving on the weekends as well. All classroom sessions are held in our office located at 2500 Packard St. Suite 200 Ann Arbor, MI 48104 .

Segment 1 Requirements

  • 24 hours of classroom instruction and 6 hours behind the wheel.
  • Students must be at least 14 years and 8 months of age.
  • Upon conclusion of the class and passing of the written exam, a certificate of completion will be issued.
  • Students are then able to obtain a Level 1 license which entails 50 hours behind the wheel including 10 hours at night with an adult 21+ years of age.
